Remembering Summer

Just because it's the time of year when we long for some color! Especially after these terribly cold temps. These photos were all taken in my own garden during the summer.

I love growing things. Especially when I can then use them in the kitchen or my apothecary. There is nothing better than to bring a basket full of goodies inside and start creating things that are useful and beautiful.

And yes, a dose of magic goes into every batch!
